Hamilton Rod and Gun Club Members ONLY! Multi State CT/UT/AZ.

HRGC member Mike Palermo will be teaching a multi-state carry permit course at the Pistol House on Saturday 12/6 from 8:30AM - 4:30PM. 

You must have your MA LTC in order to sign up for this course.

This 8-hour Connecticut Pistol Permit (CPP) class is a comprehensive training course designed to educate individuals on the laws and regulations surrounding the carrying of concealed firearms in CT, UT and AZ.  The class covers essential topics such as the use of force, firearms safety, and the proper handling and storage of firearms, as well as the specific laws and requirements for obtaining a permit in CT, UT, and AZ. 

There is a live fire portion included. Your firearm is required and 60 rounds of ammo, along with safety glasses and hearing protection.

The bar will be hosting a  Holiday Trivia night and Yankee Swap (with a twist) on Friday evening December 19th.

Please bring a gift worth no more than $15 to participate in the swap. One free beverage for those who participate in the swap.

No cost to play holiday trivia. Hamilton Bucks awarded to the top three (3) teams.  Seventy-five (75) questions. Five (5) rounds of fifteen (15) questions per round. Trivia to start at or around 6:30 PM

With plenty of time left in the season, UBC (Upland Bird Club) is looking to recruit any HRGC members that are interested in joining! 

The fee to join UBC is $100. UBC also does private bird hunts for $25 a bird!

Just a friendly reminder about membership renewals. To make the process as convenient as possible, we offer several options for submitting your renewal:

Important Notes:

• If paying in person, please only make payments directly to a Membership Committee member. Do not leave payments—especially cash—with anyone else, as we cannot ensure they will be properly processed.

• The Membership Committee can only accept membership dues. We are not able to process other payments, such as UBC fees, camping fees, target access fees, etc.

• For check payments, please be aware that it may take a few weeks for your check to clear. Deposits are made once per month by the treasurer.

• As a reminder, we are all volunteers with families, jobs, and other commitments. Please do not attempt to pay your dues during social events, such as Friday nights at the bar—we will not be able to process your payment at those times.

Friday Night Trap is back! We are starting back up Trap on Friday evenings. Runs on the 2nd & 4th Friday night of each month, starting at 6PM.

As a reminder, Trap is open to the public as well as members so come on down if you're interested!

We have installed a key card access on Shed B to access Target Stands!

First and foremost, we'd like to thank Mark Corriveau for installing the new RFID reader on Pistol Shed B. With this new system, Pistol will still be selling access to the shed for the target program and we will be able to easily manage the pistol shed access electronically. This will be an effective way to enable your key card to enter the pistol house and now the target shed. We also added all the people who have already paid into the key card access for shed B. If  you have issues getting into the shed, please send Zach Martins, Pistol Co-Chair, a message and he will address the issue. 

As a friendly reminder when using the Campground and Race Track gates, please lock them when you are done. The gates are there to protect your club and keep the property use for members only.

It has been brought to our attention that someone is shooting broadheads at the outdoor targets. This is not allowed at the Club as the targets are not made for broadheads.
